camera power adapter.................?
my mom ordered me for christmas a power adapter for my camera. but i'm a little concerned it might not have all that it needs to work properly. it says something about that it requires a dc coupler DR-700. i assume thats the part that actally plugs into the camera battery port. while the power adapter is just the power conversion source. CA-PS700 Compact Power Adapter is what my mom got me. but now i find packages that have the coupler but its a diffrent power source ( i think). man these companies make it so confusing. it makes it even worse that i can't find the coupler seperate anywhere online. so my question is, did i get everthing i need? or do i haft to go for a power adapter kit? the only kit i found that has a dr-700 coupler is AC Adapter Kit ACK-DC20. would that be the right kit to use for my camera? or do i need to get somthing else of course i have no clue if it came with a dc coupler cause i'm not allowed to open my present. but i sorta need to make sure of that, before i request that i open the wrapping ahead of time to find out. cause i would much rather find out if i got the wrong thing ahead of time and send it back now and get the kit i need. and i know that if you don't order somthing online by the 20th or the 21st your screwed for getting it by chistmas eve. the gift is not much of a surprise and i figure she would much rather me get the right thing then me having to wait to get a part to make it work. i need a power source cause i'm going to kill my battery life having to recharge it so many times in such a short span of time. and it also annoying that it shuts off half way through filming cause the battery dies. then i haft to wait to film again.and since i've been working for less than a year with a dslr. it takes me a little bit to set up and adjust the shot, and i tend to leave my camera on during this time. i turn off the camera and a tripod zoom shot is all off center when i turn it back on. and i usally don't use the power saving settings. camera. canon EOS reble t2i 18mp.

Would this be a good DSLR entry Camera ? 5 stars best answer!!?
Im not a professional neither i want this dslr for any kind of work just entertainment and hobby.... Please tell me if this one is worth buying ? and be specific especially concering the following: 1. 10MP ? The only thing i know about cameras :) ,does it matter when talking about DSLR ? 2. Picture quality ? Better than a 12-15MP casual digital camera ? 3. Zoom ? 4.
